MEETING WITH PROGRESS ENERGY & DUKE ENERGY REGARDING FIRE PROBABILISTIC RISK ASSESSMENT FOR THE PILOT PLANTS TRANSITIONING TO THE NATIONAL FIRE PROTECTION ASSOCIATION STANDARD NFPA 805 DATES: December 12, 2007 See attached agenda for times LOCATION: Nuclear Energy Institute 1776 I Street NW Washington, DC 20006 PURPOSE: To discuss topics associated with Progress and Duke Energys Pilot Program to transition to the risk-informed, performance-based fire protection regulation in Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) 50.48(c), the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 805 Rule.

CATEGORY: This is a Category 2 meeting. The public is invited to participate in this meeting by discussing regulatory issues with the NRC at designated points identified on the agenda. Certain portions of this meeting will be closed to the public because of Sensitive Homeland Security Information.
