On September 2, 2021, a closed meeting was held between the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff and representatives of Exelon Generation Company, LLC (Exelon, the licensee). The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the proprietary information marking in the license amendment requests for LaSalle County Station, Units 1 and 2 (LaSalle), regarding new Global Nuclear Fuels - America, LLC (GNF) 3 fuel storage vault and spent fuel pool criticality methodologies and changes to Technical Specifications 4.3.1 and 5.6.5. | |||

Exelon Presentation This was a follow-up to the previous non-public telephone discussion with the NRC staff on August 4, 2021, which was not noticed, where the proprietary markings were initially discussed. | |||
For the purpose of the discussions in this meeting, Exelon provided an informal document on August 31, 2021, with the proposed revisions to the proprietary markings related to the license amendment request (A password protected Proprietary Document, submitted by {{letter dated|date=October 14, 2021|text=letter dated October 14, 2021}}, Non-Public, ML21287A657). The information presented was intended to enable NRC to get a clear understanding on the proposed revisions to the markings. | |||
