OF THE MAY 17, 2022, PUBLIC OUTREACH TO DISCUSS THE NRC 2021 END-OF-CYCLE PLANT PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT OF CLINTON POWER STATION, UNIT 1, AND LASALLE COUNTY STATION, UNITS 1 AND 2 On May 17, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (CDT), a public webinar was held by representatives of the U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) to provide the public with information on the 2021 end-of-cycle plant performance assessment of Clinton Power Station, Unit 1, and LaSalle County Station, Units 1 and 2, along with general information on the NRC.
The NRC representatives discussed plant performance with members of the public and state government employees. Representatives from Constellation Nuclear were also in attendance.
The NRC discussed their assessment of Clinton and LaSalles performance as documented in the March 2, 2022, end-of-cycle assessment letters (ADAMS Accession No. ML22059B018 and ML22055B063, respectively). During the question-and-answer session of the webinar, representatives from the NRC discussed various topics of public interest.
