SUMMARY

OF THE MAY 17, 2018 PUBLIC OUTREACH TO DISCUSS THE NRC 2017 END-OF-CYCLE PLANT PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT OF LASALLE COUNTY STATION, UNITS 1 AND 2 On May 17, 2018, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (CDT), a public outreach was held by representatives of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) to provide the public with information on the 2017 End-of-Cycle plant performance assessment of the LaSalle County Station, Units 1 and 2, and with general information on the NRC. The open house was held at the Health and Fitness Fair in Ottawa, Illinois. The NRC representatives discussed with approximately 30 members of the public and were interviewed by a local radio station. The NRC representatives also discussed plant performance with a number of local officials visiting the fair. No feedback form was received for this Open House. Representatives from Exelon Generation Company, LLC were also present at the fair.

The NRC discussed their assessment of the LaSalle County Station, Units 1 and 2s performance during the open house. The assessment information was documented in the March 2, 2018, End-of-Cycle Assessment Letter (reference ADAMS Accession Number ML18058B088). Representatives from the NRC made copies of the above letter and other brochures and fact sheets available to the public in attendance. Throughout the open house, members of the public were given the opportunity to ask questions of Exelon officials.
