OF THE MAY 22, 2024, PUBLIC OUTREACH TO DISCUSS THE NRC 2023 END-OF-CYCLE PLANT PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT OF LASALLE COUNTY STATION, UNITS 1 AND 2 On May 22, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. (CDT), an information meeting (open house) with question-and-answer session was held by representatives of the U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) to provide the public with information on the 2023 End-of-Cycle plant performance assessment of LaSalle County Station, Units 1 and 2, along with general information on the NRC. Two representatives from Constellation Nuclear were also in attendance.
The NRC discussed their assessment of LaSalles performance as documented in the February 28, 2024, End-of-Cycle Assessment Letter (ADAMS Accession No. ML24058A440).
During the question-and-answer session of the open house, representatives from the NRC discussed various topics of public interest.
