On November 3, 2016, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) completed an inspection at the Enrico Fermi Atomic Power Plant, Unit 1 (Fermi 1). The purpose of the inspection was to determine whether decommissioning activities were conducted safely and in accordance with NRC requirements.
