Notice of Withdrawal of Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Offsite Emergency Planning Issua Concerning Evacuation Time Estimate Study On January 30, 1984, the Coiamonwealth of Pennsylvania filed ?ssues of concern with respect to offsite emergency planning for tne Limerick Station. Commonwealth Issue II stated (citations omitted):

Station. Counsel's letter indicates that the study to be performed by HMM Associates : l will reflect 1980 cen.ius data, the siren alert  !

system to be installed, the EPZ evacuation routes developed by the Commonwealth as set forth in Annex E (to the Pennsylvania Disaster Operations Plan), and the Radiological Emergency Response Plans of Berks, Chester and Montgomery Counties.

The Commonwealth believes counsel's representation addr. esses the State's issue of concern regarding the adequacy of applicant's evacuation time study. The Commonwealth, through PEMA, will review the completed study and provide comments to the Applicant and the Federal Emergency Management Agency ( FEMA) , as appropriate.

The Commonwealth therefore withdraws Commonwealth
