Upon behalf of the Board, its secretary placed the following two conference calls on November 10, 1987:

1. The Board's secretary advised Mr. Wetterhahn and Mr. Anthony that the Board inquired whether Mr. Anthony was going to file by November 16 a motion to compel discovery pursuant to $2.740(f) in light of the Licensee's objection of October 30 to his request for discovery.

(Neither Mr. Vogler nor Mr. Romano was available at the time this call was placed.) Mr. Anthony advised that he would file a motion to compel by November 16.

2. The Board's secretary advised Messrs. Vogler, Wetterhahn and Romano that the Board denied AWPP's motion of October 27 for sumary disposition of Licensee's request for the instant amendment because the 8711190005 871112 PDR ADDCK 05000352 n C PDR

Prior to the times the Board's secretary placed these' calls, the Board had received and reviewed the November 9 responses of the Staff to (a)AWPP'smotionofOctober 27, 1987 concerning Summary Disposition and Discovery and Licensee's Objections Thereto, and to (b) Robert L.

Anthony's Discovery Requests and Licensee's Objections Thereto.
