CONSUMERS POWER COMPANY APPLICATION FOR REACTOR CONSTRUCTION PERMIT AND OPERATING LICENSE DOCKET No. 50-329 DOCKET No. 50-330 AMENDMENT NO. 32 Enclosed herewith, amending and supplementing the abcve-entitled application, are revised pages for incorporation in the Preliminary Safety Analysis Report submitted with the original application on January 13, 1969, as amended. This material consists of the following:

1. Detailed criteria and procedures for installation of protection and emergency power systems.

2) Revised pages of the Midland Plant PSAR " List of Effective Pages," reflecting the revision of Appendix 8A.

These new and revised pages bear the notation " Amendment No. 32 3/77," and are marked in the margin to indicate where changes have been made. The enclosed pages replace all pages of Appendix 8A submitted under Amendment 26. Additional pages and figures have been added as reflected in the revised Midland Plant PSAR " List of Effective Pages."

Only balance of plant systems are addressed in this amendment.

Submittal of information covering NSSS will follow by future amendment.

We request that final staff review of this amendment be completed by June 1, 1977, in order that the current construction schedule for Midland be maintained.
