Amendment No. 7 Enclosed herewith, amending and supplementing the above-entitled application, are the following:

1969) and Amendment No. 6 (dated December 29,1969) to the application, i
to the items listed in Enclosure A to Dr. Peter A. Morris' September 26, 1969 letter to the applicant (Attn: Mr. R. D. Allen).

Responses to all of the items listed in the enclosure to Dr.
Peter A. Morris' January 8, 1970 letter to the applicant (Attn: Mr. R. D.
Allen), except Item 2.13 Applicant plans to respond to Item 2.13 in a further amendment te the application.
Dr. Morris' January 8, 1970 letter mentioned four items of concern to the AEC Staff: the onsite meteorological program, hydrogen purging, the Cadweld splice sampling program, and the design of the on-site emergency power system.
An onsite meteorological program was the subject of Item 2 of Enclosure B to Dr. Morris' September 26, 1969 letter. Responses were made in Amendments 5 and 6 to the application. In a further amendment to the application, Applicant plans to outline provisions for an onsite 8006999 ]O

g meterological program.
Hydrogen purging and the Cadweld splice sampling program were the subjects of Items 8 and 9, respectively, of Enclosure B to Dr. Morris' September 26, 1969 letter. Responses made in Amendment No. 5 to the ap-plication were revised in Amendment No. 6.
Applicant now understands that the information supplied in Amendment No. 6 has satisfied the Staff's need for additional infor=ation on these subjects.
Complexity of the onsite emergency power system design is covered on pase 8.3-1 as revised by Amendment No. 6 to the application.
On the basis of oral discussions with members of the Staff since the filing of Amendment No. 6, Applicant's understanding is that no addi-tional information on this subject is required to be submitted for the record.
