RE: St. Lucie Unit No. 2 Docket No. 50-389 Amendment I to the Final Safety Anal sis Re ort In accordance with the requirements of 10 CFR 50.30, Florida Power 8 Light Company is submitting sixty (60) copies of Amendment 1 to the Final Safety Analysis Report, St. Lucie Plant Unit No. 2.

This amendment provides the response to the request for additional information included in your letter of February 9, 1981, regarding the acceptance review for St. Lucie Unit No. 2. A revised Chapter 14, Initial Test Program, is also pro-vided. The amendment includes several technical and editorial revisions resulting from minor design changes and the ongoing technical review.
