NRC Inspection of ASR at Seabrook

  • In 2023, the NRC completed inspections to assess NextEras performance to manage the effects of ASR in Seabrook structures

- Resident inspectors and specialist from Region I and NRC Headquarters involved

- Focused on compliance with NRC-approved methodology and license conditions

  • NRC inspections in 2023 determined Seabrook structures remain capable of performing their safety functions
  • NRC inspectors identified no findings related to ASR in 2023
