By Amendment No. 12 to its license application, Saxton requested the issuance of a final operating license with an expiration date of June 30, 1969. Saxton hereby requests that this expiration date be changed to April 13,1967,so that the term of the license will coincide with the period of the research and developnent program covered by the agreements between Saxton and Westinghouse, and Saxton and the GPU subsidiaries, described in Saxton's initial licenso application and subsequently referred to in amendments thereto. Saxton will at an appropriate time submit a further amendment to its license application providing for the operation and/or disposition of the Saxton reactor after that date.
