Emergency Plan Implementing Procedures Revision In accordance with the requirements of 10 CFR 50.54(q)(5), and 10 CFR 72.44(f), the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) is submitting a description of changes to the Watts Bar Nuclear Plant (WBN) Radiological Emergency Plan. The affected document is the WBN Emergency Plan Implementing Procedures (EP IP) listed below:

EPIP Revision Title Effective Date 1 52 Emergency Plan Classification Logic 06/17/2020 5 52 General Emergency 06/18/2020 Description of Changes and Summary of Analysis EPIP-1 WBN EPIP-1 was revised to update the wording concerning notification of the State in order to better align with regulatory requirements and the Radiological Emergency Plan . In addition, the Fission Product Barrier thresholds were updated based on changes to the site-specific basis calculation, and the bases for the impacted thresholds were updated to specifically reference the design output of the calculation .

EPIP-5 WBN EPIP-5 was updated to clarify reporting of PAR updates, site evacuation reporting and dose assessment reporting . Editorial changes were made throughout the document to change font size , capitalization , numbering and PAR chc1rt image legibility.

U.S. Regulatory Commission WBL-20-030 July 7, 2020 Page2 The above changes were evaluated in accordance with 10 CFR 50.54(q)(3) and determined that the changes did not reduce the effectiveness of the Emergency Plan.
