Pursuant to Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) 50.54(q)(5), and 10 CFR 72.44(f),
Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) is submitting a description of changes to the Watts Bar Nuclear Plant (WBN) Radiological Emergency Plan (REP). The affected documents are the WBN Emergency Plan Implementing Procedures (EPIP) listed below:

60 General Emergency 10/03/2022 DescriQtion of Changes EPIP-1 Revision 56 changed values for the Steam Generator Discharge radiation monitors based on design output from revision 26 of WBNTSR 115 (Radiological Emergency Plan Effluent Radiation Monitors Emergency Action Levels (EALs) and Radiation Alert Levels). The calculation was updated to replace the calibration factors with Steam Generator Tube

The values were also updated in the Attachment 1, Emergency Classification Wallboards.
EPIP-2 Revision 48, EPIP-3 Revision 51, EPIP-4 Revision 49, and EPIP-5 Revision 60 updated Main Steam Line and Condensate Demineralizer radiation monitor values for determining if release is in progress and deleted footnote for Unit 2 monitors which is no longer applicable due to calculation WBNTSR115 update.
The above changes were evaluated in accordance with 10 CFR 50.54(q)(3) and 10 CFR 72.44(f). TVA determined that the changes did not reduce the effectiveness of the WBN REP. The WBN REP, as revised, continues to meet the requirements in Appendix E to 10 CFR 50 and the planning standards of 10 CFR 50.47(b).
