The meeting is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. in the Erwin Town Hall, 211 N. Main Ave. in Erwin. The NRC staff will open the meeting with a brief discussion of NRC inspection activities associated with NFS operations, and then be available to answer questions and listen to comments or concerns about the facility.

The NRC staff will outline policies and procedures involved in the regulation of fuel facilities like NFS and discuss recent NFS safety performance. The NRC staff will also outline its inspection and oversight plans for NFS during the remainder of this year.
