The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff documented the review of the Perry Nuclear Power Plant (PNPP) response to Gene k Letter 92 01, Revision 1, Supplement I, " Reactor Vessel Structural Integrity" in a letter dated August 19,1996. The letter concluded that the information requested by the Generic Letter had been submitted and closed out the TAC Number (TAC No, M92714) for the issue, However, the letter also stated that the NRC staff noted that PNPP was
- waiting for some of the Owners Groups' Reactor Vessel Working Groups to complete activities to establish a comprehensive information database, and requested that PNPP provide the NRC staff with the results of the Owners Group programs relative to PNPP.
In a letter dated December 23,1997 the Boiling Water Reactor Vessel Internals Project (BWRVIP) j submitted the latest information to the NRC staff concerning reactor v*ssel structural integrity, which included information from BWRs and other Owners Groups. Review of that submittal has not identified any impact on the PNPP vessel information previously supplied.
There are no commitments contained in this letter. This letter closes out the request from the NRC in the letter dated August 19,1996,to supply the above review.
