CLINTON RECEIVES OPERATING LICENSE An operating license was issued on September 29, 1986, to the Illinois Power Co. for the Clinton Nuclear Power Station. The license is limited to fuel loading and operation up to five per cent power. Fuel loading will begin on September 29, 1986, and take about three weeks to complete.
Region III (Chicago) and the Office of Public Affairs will issue a news announcement. The licensee also plans to issue a news announcement.
The State of Illinois will be notified.
