Dear Mr. Quay:

Enclosed are additional sections for incorporation into the WCAP-14727 AP600 PXS Scaling and l PIRT Closure Report, Revision 2. These sections contain RAI responses (OITS items 3401 and 3471), l which were previously transmitted to the staff under Westinghouse letters DCP/NRCl262, dated j February 20,1998, and DCP/NRCl276, dated March 2,1998, respectively. They are to be inserted at j the end of Appendix A and contain Westinghouse Proprietary information. The information contained in these sections were in responses to questions from the Reactor Systems Branch on the OSU Final Data Report and the OSU Test Analysis Report.

The Westinghouse Electric Company, a division of CBS Corporation (" Westinghouse"), copyright notice, proprietary information notice, application for withholding and affidavit are also attached.

This submittal contains Westinghouse proprietary information consisting of trade secrets, commercial information or financial information which we consider privileged or confidential pursuant to 10CFR2.790. Therefore, it is requested that the Westinghouse proprietary information attached hereto be handled on a con 6dential basis and be withheld from public disclosures.

The nonproprietary version of this revision will be provided within 30 days.
