Enclosed are two copies of Revision 25 of the AP600 Standard Safety Analysis Report (SSAR), one for the document control desk and one for the Public Document Room. Also enclosed are the revised tables of contents, change page instructions, list of effective pages, document cover sheet, and a change roadmap outlining the changes in each section. Page changes are in the form of replacement pages. The document cover sheet should be mserted in the front of Volume 1; the original document cover sheets should not be discarded. Twenty-five copies of this revision are being sem directly to Mr. Joe Sebrosky ofyour staff for distribution to the NRC staff. As discussed with your staff, copies are being sent directly to NRC subcontractors.

The changes in this revision are the result of responses to NRC technical staff comments received as of

_ August 17,1998.

All information in Revision 25 of the AP600 SSAR is nonproprietary.
