By your letter of March 31,1999 (DCP/NRC 1454), Westinghouse submitted Revision 2 (3/99) of the AP600 Design Con +rol Document (DCD). The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission staff has completed its review of Revision 2, has verified that all of the changes in Revision 2 are acceptable, and has determined that the AP600 DCb, Revision 2, can now be used in the proposed design certification rule for the AP600 standard plant design.
