Dear Mr. Borchardt:

The enclosures to this letter provide information in support of an NRC request for additional information on the AP600 (0952.43), which requests plant information needed to support computer model development.

The following information is included in the enclosures:

Enclosure 1 AP600 Feedwater a :1 Main Steam piping sketches Enclosure 2 AP600 Normal Residual Heat Removal System (RNS) system distribution and pump performance curve Enclosure 3 Passive Residual Heat Removal Heat Exchanger Assembly Drawing

Enclosure 4 AP600 Steam Generator Spray Nozzle Detail Enclosure 5 Non-proprietary copy of materials provided in Enclosures 1 through 4 The piping sketches provided in Enclosure 1 represent preliminary routings. The details of the routing at: subject to change as a result of ongoing design activities.

This submittal contains Westinghouse proprietary information consisting of trade secrets, commercial information or financial information which we consider privileged or confidential pursuant to 10CFR9.17(a)(4). Therefore, it is requested that the Westinghouse proprietary information attached hereto be handled on a confidential basis and be withheld from public disclosures.

This material is for your internal use only and may be used for the purpose for which it is submitted.

'Ihe justification for claiming the information so designated as proprietary is indicated in both versions by means of lower case letters (a) through (f) contained within parentheses located as a superscript immediately following the brackets enclosing each item of information being identified as proprietary or in the margin opposite such information.
