Response to NRC Bulletin No. 88-01 In response to the NRC Bulletin No. 88-01 (Reference 2) Detroit Edison Company hereby provides the information required regarding the subject circuit breakers. Fermi 2 does not utilize Westinghouse circuit breakers referenced in this bulletin. In addition, the Westinghouse switchgear, which normally use such circuit breakers, are on our Restricted Engineered Components List for "not to be used at Fermi 2".
Since the bulletin addresses component failure specific to a single manufacturer not utilized at Fermi 2. no further action is required.
