ITAAC Statement

Design Commitment

3. The plant parameters listed in Table 2.5.4-1, minimum inventory table, in subsection 2.5.4, DDS, with a "Yes" in the "Display" column, can be retrieved in the TSC.

Inspections / Tests/ Analyses

An inspection will be performed for retrievability of the plant parameters in the TSC.

Acceptance Criteria

The plant parameters listed in Table 2.5.4-1, minimum inventory table, in subsection 2.5.4,

DDS, with a "Yes" in the "Display" column, can be retrieved in the TSC.

ITAAC Determination Basis

An inspection was performed to verify the retrievability of the VEGP Unit 3 plant parameters in the Technical Support Center (TSC). The inspection for retrievability confirmed that the plant parameters listed in COL Appendix C Table 2.5.4-1, Minimum Inventory of Controls, Displays, and Alerts at the RSW, with a "Yes" in the " Display" column (Attachment A) can be retrieved in the TSC.

The inspection was performed as described in ITAAC Technical Report SV3-ERO-ITR-800735 (Reference 1 ), and visually confirmed that when each of the plant parameters identified in Attachment A was summoned at a workstation connected to the TSC Local Area Network (Enterprise Data System) the summoned plant parameter appeared on a display monitor at that TSC workstation.

The inspection results are documented in Reference 1 and confirmed that the VEGP Unit 3 plant parameters listed in Attachment A can be retrieved in the TSC.

Reference 1 is available for NRG Inspection as part of the Unit 3 ITAAC 3. 1.00.03 Completion Package (Reference 2).

ITAAC Finding Review

In accordance with plant procedures for ITAAC completion, Southern Nuclear Operating Company (SNC) performed a review of all findings pertaining to the subject ITAAC and associated corrective actions. This review found there were no relevant ITAAC findings associated with this ITAAC. The ITAAC completion review is documented in the ITAAC Completion Package for ITAAC 3.1.00.03 (Reference 2) and is available for NRG review.

ITAAC Completion Statement

Based on the above information, SNC hereby notifies the NRG that ITAAC 3. 1.00.03 was performed for VEGP Unit 3 and that the prescribed acceptance criteria was met.

Systems, structures, and components verified as part of this ITAAC are being maintained in their as-designed, ITAAC compliant condition in accordance with approved plant programs and procedures.
