Dear Mr. Helbert:
.. l This is to confirm our intent to conduct a survey of your emergency data system
,i capabilities for possible use as part of an Emergency Response Data System (ERDS). As I discussed with you a team of two individuals (Barry Zalcman, NRC 1
and Floyd McManus, COMEX) will be arriving at your Training and Education
-l Center at 9:00 a.m. on August 19, 1986 to conduct the survey.
If acceptable we j
will start with a brief introductory meeting followed by the survey of your 1
available data and computer characteristics.
For your information, I as
]
enclosing a list of the individuals we expect we need to speak with and a copy 1,
of the ERDS survey checklist to be used during the visit.
Please realize that not all items on the checklist will apply to your facility.
It deals with a j
broad spectrum of systems, because it was intended to cover all licensed 3
nuclear reactors.
If you have any questions please contact me on
]
(301)492-4155.
l Sincerely, a
