Dear Chairman Zech:

I want to take this opportunity to go on record in strong the opposition to any plan to grant a low power testing licens resolved. .

Until the NRC, utility officials, and state and locall h and

  • authorities can satisfactorily resolve questions about heaittwould be safuty, evacuation planning, and the future of the plant,We need llowing to be certain premature that to grant a low power testing license.the plant will actually be it to run low power tests.

As you know, I have consistently worked in the Congress to ensure public health and safety with respect to the nuclear power industry.

I believe that citizens living near Seabrook have legitimate concerns which must be addressed before the NRC issues a low power license.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.
