EQUIPMENT QUALIFICATION INSPECTION OF FORT ST. VRAIN NUCLEAR GENERATING STATION This letter confirms the dates of January 26-30, 1987, for the NRC equipment qualification (EQ) inspection for Fort St. Vrain. These dates were established with you during a meeting at NRC Region IV offices on January 13, 1987. The inspection will take place at the plant site in Platteville, Colorado.
A management entrance meeting is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on January 26, 1987 at the plant site visitor's center. A management exit meeting is tentatively scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on January 30, 1987, at the plant site. A plant walkdown inspection is planned for Wednesday, January 28, 1987.
The inspection will include the following:
- 1. Review of your implementation of a 10 CFR 50.49 program including perservation of the qualified status of qualified equipment.
- 2. Review of EQ documentation files.
- 3. Physical inspection of selected plant equipment and selected field wiring.
