ORDER The Board has before it Motion by the Federal Emergency Agency for Continuation of Hearing on Emergency Planning Contentions, filed June 30, 1986; Motion To Continue Hearing, filed June 27, 1986, by Seacoast Anti-Pollution League; and Motion To Continue Licensing i Hearing, filed June 20, 1986, by Town of Hampton.

By Notice To Parties, the Board ordered responses to FEMA's Motion no later than July 10, 1986. Responses were received from State of New Hampshire; Attorney General Francis X. Bellotti, representing the Comonwealth of Massachusetts; Town of Kensington; New England Coalition on Nuclear Pollution; Applicants; and NRC Staff.

By Memorandum and Order of January 17, 1986, the Board issued the schedule for New Hampshire Offsite Emergency Planning Contentions. This 8607150268 860711 PDR G

Order provided, in part, for submission of the pre-filed testimony on July 10, 1986 and July 21, 1986 for the evidentiary hearings to

comence. We modified the dates for hearings and established August 4-8, 1986 and August 11-15, 1986 in our Memorandum and Order of April 29, 1986. The Board further modified the January 17, 1986 schedule on June 3,1986 when we extended the date for pre-filed testimony to July 18, 1986. A Notice of Hearing was provided to the parties on June 24, 1986, which again set August 4 as the date for the hearings to begin and provided the location.

The Board in granting a continuance in this proceeding rules as ,

follows:

(1) so much of its April 29, 1986 Order as provides for the hearings to commence on August 4, 1986 is vacated; (2) so much of the Order of June 3, 1986 as provides for pre-filed testimony to be submitted by July 18, 1986 is vacated; and l

(3) Notice of Hearing dated June 24, 1986 is withdrawn.

' The Board will consider setting new schedules for the evidentiary hearings on offsite emergency planning contentions at an appropriate time.
