Emergency Plan Implementing Procedures Revision In accordance with the requirements of 10 CFR Part 50, Appendix E, Section V , 10 CFR 50.54(q)(5), and 10 CFR 72.44(f), the following Emergency Plan Implementing Procedures (EPIP) have been revised with administrative and editorial changes:

Details of the revisions are included in Enclosure 1.

While preparing this letter, it was identified that the revisions to EPIP-11 and EPIP-15 were not submitted within 30 days. This issue has been entered into the Corrective Action Program .

Enclosure 1 Description of Revision/Change EPIP-10, Rev 0031

  • Removed the words Section and Shift from references to Fire Protection Section and Duty Team, removed title Fire Protection Duty Supervisor and updated pager number.
  • Changed title of Designated Unit Supervisor to Incident Commander (IC), all due to updated staffing plan.
  • Revised Attachment 2, SM Checklist, to add steps for hospital notification and notification phone numbers to allow deleting separate Attachments 3 and 4.
  • Updated title to SM Actions and removed step to direct performance of Attachment 2.
  • Removed TVA Ambulance from onsite emergency contact.
  • Changed all supplemental material from Appendix to Attachment and formatted to align with Writer's Guide direction and eliminated checklist format due to updated placekeeping practice makes them redundant.
  • Changed all references from Appendix to Attachment throughout procedure. In all Attachments, changed EMT, EMS, EMR and MERT Leader to MERT, and changed EMT to ambulance personnel in Attachment 2 for consistency with new staffing and titles.
  • Changed title of Attachment 4 to Medical Response Guidelines and revised NOTE to read that guidelines apply to MERT responders.
  • Replaced specific RP devices with term "appropriate radiation monitoring device".
  • Revised 2.0 References Section to align with procedure template.
  • Removed course number and description of CBT for Blood borne pathogen training. The training is controlled by curriculum assignment in LMS.
  • Updated records description and retention requirements in Section 4.0 to align with fleet standard. Designated specific Attachments as QA or NON-QA records during actual events or drills. (CR 1490450)

  • Revised 2.0 Reference section to align with Writers Guide template.
  • Revised Records Retention section to conform to fleet standards (CR 1490450).
  • Changed supplemental material titles from Appendix to Attachment per the Writer's Manual.
  • Revised Appendix to Attachment throughout the document. Corrected grammar and punctuation errors. Changed words "will be authorized access" to "shall have access".
  • Changed format in section 3.3 for clarity. Added REP to RP van description to add clarity.
  • Removed Attachment 3, directions to JIC and the outdated picture as no longer needed.

EPIP-15, Rev 0020

  • Revised the list of records for retention to be consistent with fleet guidelines (CR 1490450).
  • Changed all supplemental material from Appendix to Attachment to align with Writer's Guide direction.
  • Changed all references from Appendix to Attachment throughout procedure.
