- LICENSEE PERFORMANCE REVIEW FOR LOUISIANA ENERGY SERVICES, L.L.C. (DBA) URENCO USA, DOCKET NUMBER 70-3103

Dear Mr. Cowne:

This letter refers to our virtual Skype meeting on March 30, 2020, during which we discussed the Nuclear Regulatory Commissions (NRCs) evaluation of your performance in the five major areas of safety operations, radiological controls, facility support, other areas, and safeguards (details not discussed with the public) during calendar years 2018 and 2019. The meeting was beneficial and provided the NRC the opportunity to discuss your facilitys performance during the last assessment period. The meeting also afforded you the opportunity to provide feedback to the NRC regarding your perception of the NRC performance review.

The meeting afforded the members of the public the opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback to the NRC regarding our inspection program for the URENCO USA facility. The list of meeting attendees is enclosed. The meeting slide presentations are available under accession numbers ML20087H746 (for NRCs slides) and ML20087M528 (for URENCOs slides) in ADAMS.

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice and Procedure," a copy of this letter and its enclosure will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRC's document system (ADAMS).
