I I. PURPOSE To monitor and record critical Diesel Generator parameters that could affect the immediate response of the units.

II. DISCUSSION The Diesel Generators are designed to start and accept load within 10 ,

seconds from the initiating signal. In order to do this, the units must be kept warm and all auxiliaries must be immediately available. ,

l III. LIMITATIONS l Refer to system procedures for details.

IV. PROCEDURE A. Record data as indicated on Form OPER-27, Attachment A " Diesel Generator Daily Surveillance".

NOTE: ** Require value entry.

B. Return completed forms to the Control Room Annex.
