SUBJECT:

POINT BEACH UNIT 1 - AUGUS1 198n STEAM GENERATOR INSPECTION The Inservice Inspection Section of the Materials Engineering Branch, Division of Engineering, has reviewed Wisconsin Electric Power Company's submittal dated August 5, 1980. Based upon the results of our review, we conclude that the Point Beach Unit 1 steam generators may be operated safely under conditions of the November 30, 1979 Order and the January 3,1980 Order.

Our Safety Evaluation is enclosed.
