During a routine inspection of the Rad Waste Basement, a small leak was detected in the Floor

Drain Collector discharge line.

i The leak was located approximately 4 inches downstream of the i Collector's discharge pump outlet along a weld between a short section of straight pipe and (ov DESCRIPTION OF CAUSE

, _ The leak was caused by a failed weld which was weakened in part by chemically acidic and caustic

' solutions which enter the Collector System through plant floor drains.
