• On 3-29-82, following receipt of test results from Wyle Laboratory that indicated the snubber was inoperative, this report was reclassified as a 30 day letter.

Further investigation into the cause of failure is in progress.

It stopped short by about 1 inch. Discussion with EDS indicated that the snubber was not required to function in the full compression range. The snubber is being sent to Wyle Labs for testing, dis-assembly and repair.
