l Upon investigation by Shif t Foreman, Solenoid Valve found to be verv hot to touch and after l

tapping on Versa and Solenoid Valves, 3-1601-20B valve opened.

l DESCRIPTION OF CAUSE l Suspect Versa or Solenoid Valve henging up preventing proper air flow to air operator.

OTHER APPLI CABLE INFORMATION Durine time of occurance 3-1601-20A valve was onerable (T.S. 3.7.A.1 Reference). 3-1601-20B cycled four (4) times after Versa and Solenoid Valves were tapped and valved operated satisfactorilv.

Bldg. to Torus Vacuum Breaker 3-1601-20B to cpen. an attempt was made to verify valve operability. Upon attempt to open Vacuum Breaker from the Control Room, the valve would not open.

DESCRIPTION OF CAUSE Previous failure required Versa and Solenoid Valve to be tapped in order to get valve to operate.

Suspect same cause. .

_OTHER APPLICABLE INFORMAfl0N 3-1601-20A valve verified to be operable. 3-1601-20B entered in degraded equipment loc.

3-1601-20B to be locked closed per Tech. Specs.
