Dear Judges Brenner and Laurenson:
The draft Probabilistic Risk Assessment (PRA) study for the Shoreham plant was the subject of liti-gation in the safety issue phase of the Shoreham licens-ing case (principally in conjunction with SC/ SOC 7B).
It is my understanding that the PRA may also be related to issues in the Phase II Energency Planning litigation.
Consequently, I am inforning the Board and, by copy of this letter, the parties that the final version of the PRA has been completed and that copies have been provided to the NRC Staff and Suffolk County.
Because of the expense of reproducing the multi-volume PRA, LILCO does not intend to serve it on either the OL or EP Licensing Boards or parties other than the Staff and County, If, however, either Board would like a copy of the final PRA i.
