Millstone Nuclear Power Station, Unit No. 3 Recorting of Deficiencies in Design and Construction As required by Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations Part 50, Paragraph 55(e),
Northeast Nuclear Energy Company (NNECO) is reporting a potential significant deficiency in the design of Millstone Unit No. 3 Regarding the main steam line flued head penetrations supplied by the Graver-Tank Company, investigation in accordance with I&E Bulletin 80-08 revealed misalignment of shopvelds. This infor=ation was reported by telephone to Mr. Dick File by Mr. B. L. Carlson of Northeast Utilities -Service Company (NUSCO) on December 5,1980.
We are currently reviewing the probles and will report the results of review as soon as possible.
