In accordance with your letter of November 24, 1980 and the require-ments of 10 CFR 50.48.C.5, we are providing the plans and schedules for Sections III-G, III-J and III-0 of Appendix R.

III-G Fire Protection of Safe Shutdow.4 Capability:

We are unable to provide the plans and schedules for this item as required. We have filed for an exempticn to the requirements of 10 CFR 50.48.C.5 under a separate letter dated March 18, 1981 to Mr. H. R. Denton, Director of Nuclear Reactor P.egulation.

III-J Emergency Lighting:

We are planning to provide lighting in accordance with the requirements of this paragraph. The lighting that can be installed without a plant shutdown will be installed by November 17, 1981.

Some lighting may be necessary for areas in the reactor containment which will require a plant shutdown for installation. These modi-fications will be completed at the next refueling outage in accord-ance with 10 CFR 50.48.C.3.

III-0 Oil Collection Systems for Reactor Coolant Pump:

We will provide an oil collection system for the reactor coolant pumps capable of withstanding a seismic event in accordance with Section O.

The system will require a plant shutdown for installation and, in accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR g

50.48.C.3, will be installed at the next refueling outage.
