Dear Mr. Kruesi:
I have mailed to the Atomic Energy Comission address in Washington, D. C. all of the files that have been in this office. We are sorry that we can no longer house and care for this material.
On June 30, 1973, this library lost the federal funds which it had been receiving for staff salaries, bookmobile main-tenance and Interlibrary loan cooperation. Ihis federal grant amounted to 45 percent of our budget.
When we agreed to house the Atomic Ehergy Comission material, we had no idea that it would be coming in such quantity or that it would take so much time in filing and interfiling. We have learned that a file of this material is available at the Pope County Courthouse in Russellville, Arkansas and that narch of the material is also on file at Arkansas Polytechnic College.
We are sorry that we do not have money for filing cabinets or for a person to keep up with the filing. Tlease do not send us any more of this material since we have no way of making it available to the public.
