Reactor 89-06 890905 F 17.3 A 3 2-89-021 JK SG Reactor / Turbine trip occurred when a Steat. Generator Feedwater Pump (SCFP) tripped on overspeed. The cause of this event was a defective SCFP speed control-1er card edge connector which .s dis-turbed during troubleshooting of a circuit card for a different SCFP in the same card frame. The defective card edge connector was repaired, the card frame aligrwient checked, and remaining circuit cards and edge connectors were inspected and contact surfaces cleaned.

89-07 890919 F 16.8 H 3 2-89-022 TA TRB Reactor / Turbine trip occurred free a decrease in OIDT setpoints caused by an OTDT turbine runback. The OTDT turbine runback circuit was discovered to be set for a runback of 15 seconds rather than 1.5 seconds. Short-term actions were to remove the OTDT and OTDT runback functions F: Forced Reason: Method: IEEE 805-1983 IEEE 803A-1983 S: Scheduled A-Equipment Failure (Explain) 1-Manual B-Maintenance or Test 2-Manual Scram C-Refueling 3-Automatic Scram D-Regulatory Restriction 4-Cont. of Existing E-Operator Training & License Exam Outage F-Administrative 5-Reduction G-Operational Error (Explain) 9-Other H-Other (Explain) ATTIC W m T ST R.
