SUMMARY

STPEGS Unit 2 began the reporting period operatirg at 87% reactor power with ascension to full power in progress. The unit was returned to senice on Fet ruary 25, following scheduled refueling. Full power was achieved on March 1, at 1703. On March 19, at 1554 a reactor trip occt.rred due to a main turbine electro-hydraulic contml (EllC) system pressure reduction below the low-pressure setpoint. The momentary reduction in plassure , was caused when one of the EHC solenoid valves power supply was interrupted due to a loose soldered wire. Corrective maintenance was performed and the unit was returned to senice on March 22, at 0225

                                                                                                                  );

and achieved full power on March 23, at 0205. I I On March 26, at 2147 a manual trip was initiated after a loss of feedwater to B steam generator when the feedwater regulating valve closed. A defective relay in the valve circuitry caused the closure. The relay was replaced and the unit returned to senice on March 28, at 1010. Full power was achieved on March 29, at 0130. The unit operated for the remainder of the reporting period at full power with no unit shutdowns or significant power reductions. l 4 i l l
