Your letters from D. J. Broehl to R. H. Engelken dated' June 28 and July 12, 1980, described and reported completion of actions to be taken by Portland General Electric to assure acceptable structural properties of masonry walls in the Trojan Nuclear Plant. Cur resident inspector has verified completion of the corrective actions your evaluations have shown to be required. The NRC staff will review your actions further follcwing receipt of your report describing the results of your evaluations.

D. J. Broehl's June 28 letter stated that this report w'll be furnished to the NRC within 10 days after the resumption of power operation.

In view of the above, we consider the cemitments spec.fied in the IE Imediate Action Letter from R.H. Engelken to Charles Goodwin, Jr.,

dated April 17, 1980, to have been fulfilled, and have no objection to the resumpticn of pcwer operation.
