Sherwoed letter to Denton, dated November 15, 1978 The information document provided by References 1 and 2 has been utilized by CE to keep the NRC, ACRS, and all Mark III applicants apprised of the current status of loading conditions throughout the Mark III Confirmatory Test Program. The purpose of this letter is to transmit for your infor-mation twenty-five (25) copics of revised pages for Report 22A4365 and its proprietary supplement, 22M3G5AB. These revised pages (Rev. 3) should be inserted into the Reference 2 document (ICLR, Rev. 2) previcusly transmitted. In addition to miscellaneous editorial and clarification changes, this revision includes the following technical changts:
1. Addition of submarged structure loading information ja place of that previously contained in /,ttechrnt G.
2. Correction of the emplitude for the pre-chug underpressure.

3. Updat'ing of the load sequence bar charts to clarify incon-sistencies between those provided in the various sections of

So that you may readily identify the differences between Revisions 1, 2, and 3, vertical bars have been placed in the margins of each page adjacent to the new or revised material.

The page changes to Report Supplement 22A4365AB contain information which General Electric customarily maintains in confidence and with-holds frca public disclosure. The information has been handled and classified proprietary by General Electric as indicated in the affidavit attached to the Reference 2 transmittal and the request is hereby made that the page changes to 22A4365AB be withheld from public disclosure in accordance with provisions of 10CFR2.790.

It should be noted that, as with the initial issue of Report 22A4365, this revision is not being submitted by General Electric as a replace-ment for GESSAR, Appendix 3B, Part 1. The GESSAR information, in our judgement, continues to be an acceptable basis for PSAR reviews.

Separate documentation will be submitted for FSAR reviews.
