Commission's " Policy Statement on Severe Reactor Accidents Regarding Future Designs and Existing Plants" (50 FR 32138). Amendment No. 2 also removes the i constraints on issuing construction permits and operating licenses to

! applicants who reference the GESSAR II design. The effective date of this i amendment is September 22, 1986, and will expire in five years on September 22, 1991 unless renewed by the staff.
