ISSUAtlCE OF SSER 4 FOR GESSAR II BWR/6 NUCLFAR ISLAND DESIGN Enclosed for use by the Cormittee are 16 advance copies of SSER 4 for the GESSAR II BWR/6 fluclear Island Design prepared by the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation regarding an evaluation of the GESSAR II severe accident design. The evaluation discussed in this supplement closes out all of the outstanding issues with the exception of relay chatter. This issue still remains under consideration by the staff and will be resolved for GESSAR II prior to publishing the final supplement which addresses the ACRS's concerns.

Final copies will be provided when they are received from the printer. Any significant changes in the final copies fren the advance copies will be identified. -SSER 4 does not contain information considered to be company proprietary by GE.
