pQ Re: St. Lucie Uni t 2 Docket No. 50-389 Post-TMI Requirements for Emergency 0 erations Facilities Florida Power 8 Light Company (FPL) has reviewed your letter of February 18, 1981 (Generic Letter 81-10) transmitting NRC guidance on location and manning of the, emergency response facilities. In letter L-81-145 dated April 2, 1981, submitted on the St. Lucie Unit 1 docket, FPL has committed to provide the conceptual design information for the Emergency Operations Facility (EOF) at the St. Lucie site by June 1, 1981. The requirements regarding minimun staffing for emergencies will also be addressed at that time.

The required design information for the St. Lucie EOF will also be provided in a future amendment to the St. Lucie Unit 2 FSAR. The submittal date for the amendment will be coordinated through the NRC Project Manager, Mr. Victor Nerses.
