Dear Mr. O'Reilly:

Re: RI 0-335 etin 80-20 Florida Power 8 Light has reviewed the St. Lucie Plant electrical system and has determined that Westinghouse Type W-2 spring return switches are used in our safety related 4160 V switch gear. In all cases, however, the switches are only used when the breaker is in the test position during maintenance and the switches do not use the neutral function. The neutral position contacts, which caused the problem referenced in the Bulletin, are not utilized.

Very truly yours, R.E. Uhrig Vice President Advanced Systems 8 Technology REU/PLP/111d cc: Mr. Harold F. Reis, Esquire wu'Li'ESPIAL QOPY.
