Outlier Resolution (Unresolved Safety Issue A-46, TAC No. 69447)
In Reference 2, the Omaha Public Power District (OPPD) committed to replace relays which do not meet seismic qualification criteria on the Fort Calhoun Station emergency diesel generators (LIC 95-0181. Enclosure 1. Page 3). These repla ements were to be completed under Engineering Change Notice 95-347 no later than September 1997. Although the new parts required for this work have been ordered for over one year, OPPD has not yet received them and thus must extend the committed completion date. Based on current procurement and scheduling information, OPPD plans to complete the diesel generator relay replacement no later than December 3),1997. This information was provided to W. D. Johnson of NRC Region IV on September 30, 1997.
