Outlier Resolution (Unresolved Safety Issue A-46, TAC No. 69447) i l

In Reference 2, the Omaha Public Power District (0 PPD) committed to replace the

sight glasses on the diesel generator (DG) fuel oil day tanks (F0-2-1 and F0-2-2) by June 1996 to resolve GIP-2 Outlier Item No. 20 regarding the vulnerability of the long sight glasses. In order to perform this work, the DGs are required to be out of service. Both DGs were previously scheduled to be out of service l earlier this year, however, due to OPPD's recent plant outages, the DG outages were deferred. The DG-1 and DG-2 outages are presently scheduled to occur on

! July 24 and August 7,1996, respectively. Based on this revised DG outage

! schedule, the sight glasses on the DG fuel oil day tanks will be replaced by September 1996.
