Areas Inspected:
Included a review of Security Plan and Implementing Procedures; Management Effectiveness; Security Organization; Records and Reports; Testing and Maintenance; Locks, Keys and Combinations; Protected Area Barriers; Security Lighting; Compensatory Measures; Assessment Aids; Access Control - Personnel and Packages; Detection Aids - Protected Areas; Personnel Training and Qualification and Licensee action on previous inspection findings.
Inspection effort was expended on the backshift to evaluate the Closed Circuit Television System and security lighting.
Results:
The licensee was found to be in compliance with NRC requirements within the areas examined during the inspection.
Two previous inspection findings involving the degradation of a security barrier and the inadequate reporting of a security event were closed, while a previous inspection finding pertaining to the security computer system remains open.
Two new findings relating to security lighting and assessment aids were identified during this inspection.
